Autocamp Yosemite Wedding Elopement

Dreaming of an AutoCamp Yosemite wedding? Come see this Yosemite elopement which started with getting ready at AutoCamp, with an intimate Cathedral Beach ceremony, picnic, Glacier Point portraits, followed by sunset, star and lantern portraits at Taft Point!

Ana & Roberto's AutoCamp Yosemite Wedding Elopement

When Ana and Roberto first inquired with me, they were thinking of getting married closer to home and having a court wedding before coming to Yosemite National Park. They dreamed of saying personal vows to each other and making it a small vacation for just the two of them, and it would also be Ana’s first time here in Yosemite, so she knew she wanted this special time in their lives and trip documented!

They eventually decided on staying at AutoCamp in Yosemite which offers airstream suites, luxury glamping tents, and even cabins! The location is perfect and many choose an AutoCamp Yosemite wedding because you get the experience of camping and getting married! Ana and Roberto opted for the airstream suite which is where they got ready together. It was such a beautiful and intimate experience. While it was small, we still had enough space to roam around and it was so fun to capture the moments they shared while getting ready together! Ana looked absolutely stunning. I loved her dress which had such beautiful floral detailing all throughout with sheer sleeves. Roberto wore neutral toned outfit with a shirt that also had wonderful detailing throughout. I truly do believe that even the smallest details make the world of difference!

An Intimate Cathedral Beach Ceremony & Picnic

After getting ready at AutoCamp in Yosemite, Ana and Roberto had a beautiful and intimate Cathedral Beach ceremony with such heartfelt vows to one another. They packed the cutest little picnic where they shared lunch, champagne, and a cute cake from Butter&! It was a great way to take in that feeling of being married while being able to enjoy the stunning views of Yosemite!

Ana and Roberto also had Shana Garrett Films along who is an amazing videographer and friend of mine. I always get excited to work with my friend Shana because we get along so well both as people and when working together. We always have great ideas together and it creates an amazing experience for our clients, which is our number one goal!

Breathtaking Portraits at Glacier Point in Yosemite

After Roberto and Ana finished their picnic, we headed over to Glacier Point in Yosemite for some portraits. The views at Glacier Point never disappoint. The sun was shining and the skies were perfectly clear. With iconic views of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome, you truly cannot go wrong in taking the time to trek up to Glacier Point. I always love when I get to capture someone here for their first time as well. The views are unremarkable, and because it was Ana’s first time, it was special!

A Beautiful Hike Over to Taft Point

The drive from Glacier Point to Taft Point is about 10 minutes. The hike itself is a very short 1 mile to Taft Point. This also gave us the opportunity to get more portraits with the towering trees in the background. During our hike, the sun was starting to go down and it was peeking through the trees, which created such a romantic feel!

Dreamy Sunset and Lantern
Star Portraits at Taft Point

Taft Point in Yosemite is such a dreamy location if you’re looking for sunset portraits. And this location at night with the stars? Don’t get me started! I always give my couples the option for lantern and star photos and Ana and Roberto said yes to both! I’m so glad that they did, because it was so fun to capture the photos, collaborate together, and just see them experience Taft Point as the sun was setting, along with the stars!
