Veronica & Danny's Agate Cove Inn Mendocino Wedding
When V & D had reached out to me, they wanted to get married somewhere in California with the view of the coast and forest. On our phone call, we went over all of the different options and locations. Mendocino was one of the locations I had recommended. After visiting Mendocino, they fell in love with Agate Cove Inn and decided that a Agate Cove Inn Mendocino wedding was perfect for them!
Veronica and Danny truly wanted to have an adventurous experience that you get with an elopement, but also couldn’t celebrate their day without their closest family and friends present. So they decided to split the celebration into 2 days and celebrate with their family on day 1 and then went on an adventure the next day in the redwoods! They ended up staying for a total of 5 days to enjoy the Mendocino coast!

Getting Ready at Agate Cove Inn With V & D
Veronica and Danny’s whole family stayed in cabins at the Agate Cove Inn. It’s the perfect location for an intimate wedding and they also offer elopement packages for a “just us” experience. Each of the cabins have a beautiful getting ready area and the bridal suite is on the second floor with a deck and views of the California coast.
V got ready with her mom and had her first look with her friends and her dad and brother. It meant so much for her to have her family there.
Veronica & Danny's First Touch & First Shots Together
Veronica and Danny didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, so they did a “first touch” and a “first shot” where they went back to back and took a shot of whiskey together! It was so sweet, and I loved the unique incorporation of them taking a shot together!
A Cliffside Agate Cove Inn Mendocino Wedding Ceremony
Veronica and Danny’s Agate Cove Inn Mendocino wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Agate Cove offer’s such stunning oceanside views, and the weather for their wedding day was perfect! They shared their vows overlooking the ocean and we all cried!

V & D's Agate Cove Inn Mendocino Wedding Reception & Sunset Portraits on The Coast
During dinner, we headed out to take sunset photos on the coast and it was even more beautiful than we imagined. I couldn’t get over the sunset illuminating the waves. It truly made for such romantic Mendocino wedding portraits! We then finished the night with the speech, dance and party!
Day After Adventure Photos at Timber Cove Resort
The next day we met up at Timber Cove Resort for their adventure photos! We got ready in their beautiful mid century modern room and then headed to the redwoods. The Sonoma Coast Redwoods are very secluded, and we were the only ones at the park! It was such an intimate and fun experience, and added in that adventure that Veronica and Danny knew they wanted!
Overall their California wedding was perfect, and it was such an honor to have been their California wedding photographer!
