COVID Changed Their Plans From Wedding To Elopement
This Coastal Big Sur Elopement is one of the most gorgeous and perfect ways to celebrate love during the pandemic! Jackelyn & Kamran had originally planned a 300 guests wedding but after the pandemic, their plan had to change. They either had to postpone their wedding next year or reduce their guest list. They decided they wanted to get married the way they enjoyed their engagement session, adventuring the California Coast, and chose to elope in Big Sur with their closest family and friends!

First Look
We met up with Jackelyn and Kamran at this gorgeous hotel to pick them up to our before the ceremony adventure! They truly valued their experience and visiting all of the gorgeous locations in Big Sur! We had talked about how to successfully do a first look while being in the same car and I suggested Kamran to be blindfolded in the passenger seat while Jackelyn sit right behind him to avoid seeing each other, and it worked!
After the first look, we walked around the trails and went up a hill to a gorgeous 360 vista view. Even though Bigs Sur is a highly popular location, there are few places that the crowd overlooks and we were able to find a secluded scenic spot, away from tourists. The best thing is we barely hiked to reach this draw-dropping view and enjoyed our privacy being awed by the sight.
Plan B Led Us To Finding Hidden Gem Location
During the pandemic, it was hard to find any place to photograph because they were not offering Special Use Permits at the time. I had to ask around and talk to locals to find areas that I’ve never looked at in the past. I found a long trail/off-roading road that led to amazing redwoods and scenic vista views of the Big Sur valleys. We made a few stops along the way to photograph privately and it was so fun giving them a ride to a secluded secret road!
We finished our adventure and dropped off our couple at the hotel so they could relax while we picked up their favorite food spot, in in-N-Out!!! It was so cute seeing their happy stuffed faces!

Jackelyn & Kamran had a ceremony with their closest family and friends at this beautiful outdoor venue overlooking the Big Sur Coast. They had a magical harp playing as they walked down the aisle and got to share their celebration with everybody. They reserved a restaurant for dinner and spent an intimate time together enjoying amazing food!
