Devin & Cameron's Intimate Taft Point Elopement & Yosemite Airbnb Reception
Yosemite was one of Devin and Cameron’s bucket-list locations and they’d been eager to visit, so they decided a Yosemite elopement was perfect for them! They wanted a very intimate experience and to be fully immersed in the beauty that Yosemite offers, so that’s exactly what we did.
They started their elopement day in the afternoon getting ready at their beautiful Airbnb in Yosemite West. Yosemite West is one of the best lodging options in the Yosemite area because it is only 35 minutes to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point! Most lodging around the area takes at least an hour to get to the park, so this is one of the best options if you are looking to be close to the park. They had their first look on the balcony overlooking the pine trees. After their heartfelt moment, we headed out to Yosemite National Park.

D + C's Yosemite Elopement Ceremony in The Meadow With Views of El Captain
The weather this past year and this year blessed us with lots of rain which prolonged the size of the waterfall. In the past few years, during the drought, the waterfall would start fading away by May. We couldn’t miss the opportunity take photos of the waterfall!
After frolicking in the meadow and enjoying the beautiful weather, we headed to meet up with Don, the officiant, for their ceremony. We were the only ones out in the meadow for their ceremony, a soft wind was blowing through the trees, and D &C tied the knot with the view of El Capitan. After the ceremony, we celebrated with a champagne pop and a quick picnic to replenish ourselves.
Newlywed Portraits at Glacier Point & Taft Point in Yosemite National Park
After their ceremony and champagne pop. we headed out to Glacier Point and Taft point for newlywed portraits. It was nice seeing their expressions of seeing the vista views. Even when I’ve been there many times, it never cease to amaze me how small you feel in the presence of the vast view of the mountains.
We watched as the sun went behind the valley before heading back to their Airbnb.
An Intimate Yosemite Airbnb Wedding Reception With a Private Chef
When we got back, we were greeted by the stunning reception for two setup by Cakewalk Heirloom Baking Co. They are a local company who offers private dining experiences for elopements and intimate weddings. They provide in-house decor and florals to create a magical dining experience for couples and their guests.
We were STUNNED by how it looked like straight out of a fairytale. D & C had their first dance to their favorite song on the balcony and headed inside to enjoy dinner. We had a long day and it was so nice to be able to relax and be served a hot fresh meal prepared by one of the amazing private chefs.
Most restaurants close after 9pm, so it was wonderful to not worry about finding dinner and simply be pampered by their private dining experience. D & C’s day was a great example of truly investing in their elopement experience, and I’m so glad they got to spend the whole day enjoying and celebrating their new chapter together.
