Jaime & Lindsey's Intimate Pelican Inn Wedding With Muir Woods & Beach Portraits
For Jaime and Lindsey, family and their faith are super important to them, and they wanted to incorporate both into their elopement day. Having their family present for their intimate Pelican Inn wedding only made sense. They are big gift givers, and they wanted me to capture them giving gifts to their families and to each other. They and their family are truly so sweet.
Pelican Inn is a cute cottage style venue close to the redwoods of Muir Woods and the coast. They source all of their furniture from Europe, which adds a 1900’s cottage vibe to the interior. This is truly the perfect venue for an intimate wedding celebration with your closest friends and family.

An Intimate Pelican Inn Wedding Ceremony in Muir Beach, CA
Jaime and Lindsey had the most beautiful Pelican Inn wedding ceremony on the Inn’s great outdoor lawn. Their outdoor ceremony space allows for views of a rustic barn and horses across the way. Jaime’s mom also made the most gorgeous bouquet and floral arrangements for the ceremony!
Jaime and Lindsey asked their longtime friend to officiate their ceremony. They prayed before the ceremony and exalted the Lord during their ceremony as well. The family also took turns reading scripture and glorified God who brought them all together. It was truly so beautiful to witness and capture.
During the ceremony, Jaime started his vows with a joke reference from The Office and cracked everyone up! They both had really heartfelt vows which brought us all to tears.
Intimate Pelican Inn Wedding Reception in The Conservatory
Jaime and Lindsey wanted to spend a lot of time with their family since Jaime’s grandparents traveled all the way from Argentina to celebrate them and be present for their intimate Pelican Inn wedding.
They ended up having a beautiful Pelican Inn wedding reception and dinner in the glass conservatory at Pelican Inn. Pelican Inn makes one amazing Beef Wellington! The conservatory was filled with vine plants and flowers, and it was just so beautiful and intimate.
After dinner, they wanted to give one more gift to show appreciation for their family. They had speeches, dances, and then a pie cutting!
Jaime & Lindsey's Muir Woods Elopement Portraits
After their intimate Pelican Inn wedding reception and dinner, Jaime, Lindsey, and I headed out to Muir Woods for sunset portraits in the redwoods. The venue itself was very close to the redwoods, making it very convenient to slip away for portraits.
I love that Jaime and Lindsey chose to spend time with their family, but also got amazing portraits afterwards with just the two of them! They chose to do everything first so that they didn’t have to leave their family in-between. The sun was peeking through the trees during our time in Muir Woods, and it was the most beautiful setting!
J + L's Foggy Muir Woods Beach Overlook Portraits
After their redwood elopement portraits in Muir Woods, we then headed to the nearby Muir Beach Overlook to end the day. The weather was moody and foggy, and so romantic! If you’re looking for a quiet beach experience, then this would be perfect for you. It’s such a cute little cove with a beautiful overlook!
Overall, Jaime and Lindsey’s Pelican Inn wedding ceremony and reception were perfect. I loved that they ended their day together for portraits. It’s the perfect example of having the best of both worlds -eloping while still celebrating with their family!
